In May 2020, liquid gas - nitrogen was transported in cryogenic tanks (pressurized tanks) in the amount of 30 tons from the Balkanabad station to the Khazar site. In accordance with GOST 19433-88 "Dangerous goods. Classification and labeling" liquid nitrogen refers to dangerous goods and belongs to the 2nd hazard category. Transportation of cargo was carried out on the basis of relevant documents, as well as in compliance with the "Safety Rules for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road" and the "Rules for the Construction and Safe Operation of Pressure Vessels."
